Description: This NASW-IL Northeastern District CEU presentation will provide a definition of developmental and intellectual disabilities (IDD). It will discuss Illinois programs for individuals with IDD, including EI, DSCC, school, transition employment, day programs and funding. It will describe the Division of Developmental Disabilities, including the PUNS list and waiver services. It will also discuss public benefits for people with IDD. Finally, it will conclude with case examples and a question and answer section for participants to ask specific questions about clients they may be serving at this time.
