Let Your Sensitivity Shine! Understanding Yourself, Your Clients, and Your Business as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)
Date: Thursday, June 1st from 12:00 to 1:30 PM CST (10 AM - 11:30 AM PST)
Speaker: Liz Gray, LCSW, RPT
Description: Did you know that approximately 20% of the population identifies as a Highly Sensitive Person? A form of self-care is understanding your own sensitivity and how it impacts you on a personal and professional level. Through the lens of DOES (Depth of Processing, Overstimulation, Emotional Intensity/ Empathy, and Sensitive to Subtleties), we will explore:

1) What is a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)?
2) How being a HSP impacts us on a professional level as a clinician (i.e. makes it difficult to write notes), and
3) Strategies and systems for HSPs to embrace their sensitivity, including a customized self-care plan.
