Description: The Individual Justice Plan (IJP) process is an evidence-based individualized plan to collaboratively, pro-actively address behavioral issues of youth and adults with cognitive disabilities who may be at risk of, or who are already involved in the criminal justice system.  
The IJP process develops a plan to address how entities (human services, juvenile justice, law enforcement) in contact with persons with disabilities can work to blend their efforts to create behavioral change to prevent involvement and address current involvement of youth and adults with disabilities in the criminal justice system.
